encfs 1.4.2 will not configure

Description
In a new install of MacPorts 1.6, Leopard 10.5.2, xcode 3.0, encfs fails in the configure step with the below error. I have also attached my config.log. Other users have confirmed that this problem exists on 10.4.11.
checking for boostlib>= 1.33... yes configure: WARNING: BOOST_CPPFLAGS -I/opt/local/include checking whether the Boost::Serialization library is available... yes configure: error: Could not link against !

Confirmed. Reverting boost to 1.34.1_3 (svn rev [36455]) fixes the issue.
