Thanks for the info. This is apparently an upstream bug, which has been fixed in their svn (patch).
yattenator@, if you have no objection, I'll go ahead and add the patch to the port.

Thanks alot for the help. You are very fast great support. Can you let me know when you add the patch to the port, so I can install mediatomb. Hehehe I need my media server back up for the ps3. have a good day.

sudo port clean mediatomb
, and then runningsudo port -d install mediatomb > mediatomb.log 2>&1
. Please also specify your XCode and OS versions.
