What language dictionaries does the below installation message refer to? What else do i need to make Pan2 work?
DURING PAN2 INSTALLATION: ---> Staging aspell into destroot ---> Installing aspell 0.60.6_0+macosx You must install (at least) one of the language dictionaries after installing this port in order for it to work. ---> Activating aspell 0.60.6_0+macosx ---> Cleaning aspell ---> Fetching gtkspell2

The message came from aspell, not pan2. It is telling you that you need to install a language dictionary like aspell-dict-de, aspell-dict-en, etc. before you can use aspell to check spelling.
