Description

I searched in the Trac bug reports but I can't figure out how to make aquaterm compile. My config is a MBPro (Core 2 Duo) with Leopard 10.5.3 and I need aquaterm for GnuPlot. I tried

port clean --all aquaterm
port install -d aquaterm

I tried to change the SDK used (with my macports.conf) to 10.5 (not 10.4), not to compile for ppc, I tried the workarounds in the bug reports, nothing works !

I cleaned and this is the build log :

bash-3.2# port install -d -f aquaterm
---> Building aquaterm with target -buildstyle Deployment -target AquaTerm
Error: Target org.macports.build returned: shell command " cd "/opt/local/var/macports/build/_opt_local_var_macports_sources_rsync.macports.org_release_ports_aqua_aquaterm/work/aquaterm" && nice -n 15 /usr/bin/xcodebuild -buildstyle Deployment -target AquaTerm " returned error 1
Command output:

Cc maintainer. Looks like your Xcode precompiled header cache might be corrupt. Maybe you just need to clean it out.

comment:2 Changed 16 years ago by spamygaby@…

jmr, I cleaned ... Or what do you want to say by XCode precompiled header ? How can I clean that if it's not what I've done ?

I am not sure that the maintainer of aquaterm responds to these message.
Is there still a problem?

If not, I will close this ticket.

The problem appeared to be broken files in /Library/Caches/com.apple.Xcode.0/. The "Empty Caches..." menu item in XCode should clean them out.
