Description (last modified by ryandesign (Ryan Carsten Schmidt))
I'm trying to port a linux application. when executing the make I get this error:
Undefined symbols: "_g_thread_init",
I tried to install glib2-devel but it generates a conflict
Error: port activate failed: Image error: /opt/local/bin/glib-genmarshal is being used by the active glib2 port. Please deactivate this port first, or use the -f flag to force the activation.
also by forcing, the g_thread error persists.
Thanks, nicola

You may install either glib2 or glib2-devel but not both. They are mutually exclusive. See #14540.
What is the application you are trying to port, and what version of glib does it claim to require?
