xephem 3.7.2_0 violates the layout of the ports-filesystems

If this error is causing non-standard files & directories to be created in my filesystem, how can I clean up after these changes? Will macports delete the nonstandard files & directories when the package is removed?

"port uninstall xephem" should uninstall all files installed by the port, regardless of where they were installed.
