Description
I just installed xv 3.10a from an up-to-date MacPorts installation on a Mac Pro. The program is completely unusable because the right-click to bring up the menu doesn't work. I tried every variation of clicking, control-clicking, option-control-clicking etc. I could think of, but nothing worked.

What version of the OS? How did you install X11? Finally, what kind of mouse are you using?

Mac OS X Leopard. I installed X11 from the developer's disk that came with the computer. I tried two mice: the Apple one-button mouse and a Logitech two-button mouse (both Bluetooth); neither of them could allow me to bring up the menu.
Note that xv does display an image if you give it an image file on the command-line; it's just that I can't get to the menu, and on xv the menu is all-important.

Sorry, I can't reproduce. Right clicking opens the "xv controls" window for me.
I am on Leopard and using Xquartz 2.3.0.
