Description
I have recently installed MacPorts but am having problems using it to install ports. For example, I have tried installing ImageMagick with the following result:
usage: install [-bCcpSsv] [-B suffix] [-f flags] [-g group] [-m mode]
[-o owner] file1 file2
install [-bCcpSsv] [-B suffix] [-f flags] [-g group] [-m mode]
[-o owner] file1 ... fileN directory
install -d [-v] [-g group] [-m mode] [-o owner] directory ...
I thought it might be a problem with ImageMagick so selected other ports at random but always got the same result.
I have unistalled MacPorts, then re-installed it but this has not helped.
I am usimg macPorts 1.7.0. My OS is Leopard 10.5.6
Any help would be much appreciated.
Graham
