gnome-terminal-2.24.2 conflicts with dbus-1.2.12

Description

gnome-terminal aborts with the following error: 

ERROR:terminal-app.c:1525:terminal_app_init: assertion failed: (app->default_profile_id != NULL)

Downgrading the current dbus to dbus-1.2.4 fixes this problem.

The switch to dbus-1.2.12 seems to have broken a number of other programs; there's some mention that it removes support for the X11 variant (​#17950).

Not sure if this can be fixed by MacPorts maintainers.

dbus @1.2.24_1+universal (active)
gnome-terminal @2.30.2_0 (active)
