Description
It would be nice if MacPorts base could automatically handle distfiles compressed in the .7z format, using a new "use_7z" setting.
r46869 inspired this request.

Would it be more appropriate to call it "use_7zip", to match use_bzip2 which has the name of the format rather than the file extension?

I'm open to changes, but according to the 7-zip web site, 7z is the name of the format. See also the 7z WikiPedia page.
