I second the outdated readline issue, I had the same problem. What's strange is that readline
was only updated after bash
, which means that it couldn't compile ; should readline
be a build dependency, or should library dependencies be upgraded before ports (which I think macports doesn't guarantee yet) ?

You need to upgrade readline before bash.
As readline is in depends_lib for bash, this will automatically happen when using sudo port upgrade bash
.

I believe that is a symbol which is new in readline 6.0, so make sure your readline port is up to date.
