Description
I've never gotten gnucash to successfully build and run so here goes I'm finally letting everyone officially know, yes, there's a problem --seems there always is with gnucash.
General description of problem gnucash-2.2.8 builds without complaints. But starting it, either via /opt/local/bin/gnucash-bin only momentarily flashes a startup image (that doesn't fill in) before it stops. Terminal displays the following error.
Output Xlib: extension "Generic Event Extension" missing on display ":0.0". Xlib: extension "RANDR" missing on display ":0.0". Xlib: extension "Generic Event Extension" missing on display ":0.0". Xlib: extension "Generic Event Extension" missing on display ":0.0".
What should happen It should start and run without any error.
Steps to reproduce -install gnucash -pass /opt/local/bin/gnucash-bin -watch the display uninterrupted -use gnucash
I'm running OS X Intel 10.4.11

k, forget this.
I had updated my install and had this problem, but I did so again and all systems go now.
