It's pretty annoying that you lose cli history and editing after you do 'port selfupdate'. Can someone please add --enable-readline to make sure new versions of 'port' are as usable as the version installed from .dmg?

Added code in r50868 that adds --enable-readline to the base configure args, but not if it finds any readline bits in /usr/local. This should avoid the kind of problem seen in #10651.
