Description
https://www.darwinports.org/ should redirect to www.macports.org but doesn't redirect; it just shows the web site. There are over 2000 pages of the MacPorts web site available via www.darwinports.org URLs on Google.
http://www.darwinports.org/ does redirect, but does so with a 302 ("found") status code. All our other-domain redirects (darwinports.org, macports.com, macports.net) should use a 301 ("moved permanently") status code so Google and other search engines know to replace the other domain with our official domain in their indexes.

But all the domains map to gamma4.macosforge.org (17.254.17.51) so whoever administers the web server on that machine (I figured it was you) needs to change its configuration.

Oops, you're right, I misread the ticket. This is mine and will be fixed on Monday if not sooner.

Yes, looks good! Thanks. Hopefully over the next weeks we'll start seeing the pages disappear from Google under the old domains as Google revisits us.

jberry owns darwinports.org (and macports.org for that matter).
