install gnome fails at yelp

On OS X 10.5 and macports 1.7.1, I run "sudo port install gnome" and it fails when trying to install yelp. This same error occurs also when just running "sudo port install yelp". The following is the output when it gets to yelp:

FYI, yelp installs fine for me. What version of Xcode are you running? It's probably not related to this problem, but you should have version 3.1.2.

Are you up to date on all your ports? Please run the following:

sudo port selfupdate
sudo port upgrade outdated
sudo port clean yelp
sudo port install yelp

Also, what is the output of the following:

port installed gtk2

All of my ports are updated and I get the same error message after running what you suggested. It might be relevant to mention that I installed KDE4 packages prior to trying to install Gnome (but had to deactivate some kde packages that gnome complained about). The output of "port installed gtk2" is:

I've also been getting the same problems installing gnome with yelp being the only dependencies that couldn't be resolved. Yelp is active, and everything is updated.

I am slightly puzzled why the all the dependencies weren't downloaded, like zenity, automatically, and why does the output say that zenity was not there when the port install says that it is active.
