Would probably be easier to maintain if you would make the version of the upload part a variable.

Sorry about being so slow on this, life is being a pain.

I've updated to the latest stable (0.7.59) in changeset:51769, so that part is done. I've also simplified and committed the upload variant (with some idiosyncratic variable name changes) in changeset:51773.

For consistency with the rest of MacPorts, I think that Passenger should put into a separate rb-passenger port, and the variant made to depend on that. Feel free to make patches to do that if you like, otherwise I will get around to it eventually (probably in the first half of July).
