Description
mysql5 is still at version 5.0.x. For awhile http://dev.mysql.com was showing both 5.0.x and 5.1.x as generally available versions, but now the GA version is 5.1.x and the next beta is 5.4.0. So it's high time to update mysql5 to 5.1.x.

I was about to finally do this but noticed that mysql 5.1.x cannot be built universal whereas 5.0.x had no problem doing so. I filed a bug report with the mysql developers but have not yet heard back.
