Description
"port destroot" doesn't activate dependencies which are built and installed, causing the "port destroot" run to fail. Tested w/ "port -v -d +adns +net-snmp +pcre destroot" from net/ethereal.
I think a very interesting solution would be to have the dependencies satisfied by the installed (but not activated) dependency binaries/libs/whatevers, that way the top level port can run w/o activating its dependencies - the point being dependency variants can be installed and used only by one (or a few) ports while have a different variant of the dependency activated for general use.
