Description
I don't think this is supposed to happen...
---> Verifying checksum(s) for subversion ---> Extracting subversion ---> Configuring subversion ---> Building subversion with target all ---> Staging subversion into destroot ---> Creating pkg for subversion-1.0.5 Error: port search failed: can't read "sources": no such variable Error: port search failed: can't read "sources": no such variable
The only thing I get with -dv that's different is DEBUG: Executing com.apple.mpkg (subversion)

I think this problem is more general than just subversion.
I tried it on a couple of other ports (where I had dependencies installed) and it failed in the same way.
I'm going to try to blow away my subversion dependencies and see if I get different behavior when I try to build the mpkg.

Summary: | port mpkg subversion errors out → Port mpkg is broken (was: port mpkg subversion errors out) |
I wasn't able to get port mpkg to work on any of the ports I tried (although I might misunderstand how it is supposed to work).
Reassigning but to darwinports-bugs.

Output of port -dv mpkg slrn
I just tried to do a mpkg for slrn (so libiconv and slang get bundled with it) and it didn't worked (see attachment for complete debug and verbose output of 'port -dv mpkg slrn').
I'm pretty much sure this is unfortunately related to Port Images, as references to directories leads to a "No such file or directory" error.

I fixed this bug.
I just updated subversion to 1.0.6 yesterday, does it still do it with the current version of the portfile?
