Description (last modified by mf2k (Frank Schima))
Since upgrading to Snow Leopard wireshark will not launch. Tried upgrading macports, x1, and xcode to no avail. When I try to launch wireshark, I get the following console message :
Xlib: extension "RANDR" missing on display "/tmp/launch-mzLy7N/:0".
And then nothing.....wireshark process is spiking CPU and will not stop until I kill the process.

I agree, but that is all that displays...nothing else, what can I do to debug this further?

When you say you "Tried upgrading macports, x11, and xcode", does that include following the Migration instructions?

The Xlib message is normal and is not the problem.
