Description
rb-postgres seems to ALWAYS want to install postgresql even when already installed. I thought it might be a variant thing, but obviously it isn't given the example below:
& sudo port install rb-postgres ---> Installing postgresql 7.4.3_0+darwin_7+devel ---> Activating postgresql 7.4.3_0+darwin_7+devel ---> Fetching rb-postgres ---> Attempting to fetch ruby-postgres-0.7.1.tar.gz from http://www.postgresql.jp/interfaces/ruby// archive/ ---> Verifying checksum(s) for rb-postgres ---> Extracting rb-postgres ---> Configuring rb-postgres ---> Building rb-postgres with target all ---> Staging rb-postgres into destroot ---> Installing rb-postgres 0.7.1_1 ---> Activating rb-postgres 0.7.1_1 & sudo port install rb-postgres ---> Installing postgresql 7.4.3_0+darwin_7+devel Error: Target com.apple.install returned: Registry error: postgresql 7.4.3_0+darwin_7+devel already registered as installed. Please uninstall it first. Error: The following dependencies failed to build: postgresql
