The blog post says "whatever you do, please DON'T DOWNLOAD THEM! Unless of course you are a developer or take great pleasure in incomplete, unpredictable, and potentially crashing software." So I would hesitate to offer a port of this. Also, I don't see a download link for the source, only a binary.

Most people use macports for that very reason.
Also, I don't see a download link for the source, only a binary.

I would like to help building this port, anyone on this already ? If yes, where the job got frozen ? is there a particular reason ? I've seen there is already some related port ( chromium_tabs ; depot_tools )
Thanks already for you answers ! (and hi to macports community ;)

rmstonecipher said in IRC (where he goes by ToHellWithGA) the other day that he was working on a port for Chromium; someone might want to cc him on this request.

In Chrome, chrome://credits/ lists a whole bunch of dependencies that Chrome uses, and a bunch of them don't have ports yet... Might want to work on some of those, first, if we're going to be building Chrome from source... (If we're just going to do the binary package instead, then never mind and don't bother...)
