Thanks for the port. I committed it in r58234 with these changes:

  • removed the patch and used destroot.destdir instead, though I encourage you to send your patch upstream for them to incorporate so this isn't necessary in the future.
  • simplified post-destroot removing the foreach loop
  • renamed version_major to branch and version_minor to minor and computed them instead of hardcoding them
  • changed tabs to spaces
  • also install documentation files
  • add license info
