BUG: bonnie++ builds but fails in mid-test on Mac OS X 10.3.5

Description

I checked darwinports out from CVS and installed it tonight, and installed bonnie and bonnie++ immediately afterwards. This is on OS X 10.3.5.

Bonnie seems to work but bonnie++ croaks in the middle of the test:

Writing intelligently...done Rewriting...done Reading intelligently...done start 'em...done...done...done... Create files in sequential order...done. Stat files in sequential order...done. Delete files in sequential order...Bonnie: drastic I/O error (rmdir): Directory not empty Cleaning up test directory after error.

There are >16000 files in the directory it leaves behind.

Dunno if this will help, but: gcc -v Reading specs from /usr/libexec/gcc/darwin/ppc/3.3/specs Thread model: posix gcc version 3.3 20030304 (Apple Computer, Inc. build 1495)

The volume is an HFS Extended journaled volume.
