As far as I can tell, the q port does install libq.
$ port contents q | grep libq /opt/local/include/libq.h /opt/local/lib/libq.8.0.0.dylib /opt/local/lib/libq.8.dylib /opt/local/lib/libq.a /opt/local/lib/libq.dylib /opt/local/lib/libq.la /opt/local/lib/libqint.2.0.0.dylib /opt/local/lib/libqint.2.dylib /opt/local/lib/libqint.a /opt/local/lib/libqint.dylib /opt/local/lib/libqint.la /opt/local/lib/libqmain.a /opt/local/lib/libqmain.la
If you'd like the description changed, could you propose how you'd like the new wording to be?

Oh I see, I don't know, I guess it's ok. Maybe macports needs keywords for packages that are included in search. Feel free to close this issue. Thanks for pointing out the thing about libq, I couldn't find it when I searched for it, but I see it is there now, must have just overlooked it.
Note: See
TracTickets for help on using
tickets.
Actually looks like q language doesn't install libq, can we get that?
