Description
Sorry about the lack of details, but what happens is:
if I ssh into my Mac (mini) then start a screen, then I disconnect and reattach later from another terminal (possibly another machine), then I open a new shell in that screen. That shell will have no directory services. In particular it won't be able to figure out the username from the uid, so the prompt won't show the username for instance.
I have seen it on 10.5 and 10.6, and the native version of screen in /usr/bin shows no such bug.

this is fixed on Leopard, there's already a bug for Snow Leopard.
