p5-io-compress : unable to verify file checksum for IO-Compress-2.021.tar.gz

Reported by: bathizte@… Owned by: narf_tm@…
Priority: Normal Milestone:
Component: ports Version: 1.8.1
Keywords: Cc:
Port: p5-io-compress

Description

Hello,

I'm failing updating outdated.

I've been hanging around pbs with

--->  Verifying checksum(s) for p5-io-compress
Error: Checksum (md5) mismatch for IO-Compress-2.021.tar.gz
Error: Checksum (sha1) mismatch for IO-Compress-2.021.tar.gz
Error: Checksum (rmd160) mismatch for IO-Compress-2.021.tar.gz
Error: Target org.macports.checksum returned: Unable to verify file checksums
Error: The following dependencies failed to build: p5-libwww-perl p5-io-compress
Error: Status 1 encountered during processing.

But I didn't find something useful.

I've tried to uninstall every p5-compress and p5-io-compress dependencies, but p5-io-compress seems to remain a dependency of git-core +svn.

I'm in the wild ! Is this relevant to macports ? I'm not familiar with this kind of pb. Nor with mac ports, please apologize if I'm mis-ticketing this.

Did you try the steps in the FAQ about checksums? Could just be a bad download; if you continue to get a bad checksum, list which server is giving the bad file.

ok, so sorry about that.

Indeed,

sudo port clean -f --all p5-io-compress

did work. Please close this ; I'm ashamed I did not find this FAQ by myself..

Thanks for the quick reply btw.
