Hi. After going through the migration process:
$ port installed > myports.text $ sudo port clean all $ sudo port -f uninstall installed $ sudo port install ... # other packages reinstalled ok $ sudo port install teTeX ... I have the XCode and X11 packages installed from the SnowLeopard Disk.
Hope you can help, because I need TeX routinely for my work.

Actually, texlive would likely fail in the same way -- this is a duplicate of #14185.

If you don't specifically need teTeX, you can try texlive instead.
