Description
I have installed the binary codec package available at:
However, mencoder does not appear to use those codecs because a variable would have to be set at compilation time with --win32codecsdir=DIR.

this ancient ticket is too old to work on, but the mencoder build has been set as per that commit.
if you have issues or requests, please open a new ticket (if you still exist a decade + later)
