Description
Was unable to submit changes or to reopen the prior ticket (#22710) This message follows on the heels of the end of 22710 where I was instructed to do the following:
sudo port selfupdate sudo port upgrade outdated sudo port install gimp
gimp install failed at a later spot this time. final paragraph reads:
.... To fully complete your installation and make python 2.5 the default, please run sudo port install python_select sudo python_select python25 ....snip.... ---> Activating py25-nose @0.10.4_0 Error: Target org.macports.activate returned: Image error: /opt/local/bin/nosetests is being used by the active py-nose port. Please deactivate this port first, or use 'port -f activate py25-nose' to force the activation. Error: The following dependencies failed to build: gimp-app gimp2 py25-gtk py25-cairo py25-numpy py25-nose py25-gobject gimp-jp2 gimp-lqr-plugin liblqr gtk-nodoka-engine coreutils gutenprint icns-gimp ufraw exiv2 gtkimageview xsane sane-backends libusb-compat libusb Error: Status 1 encountered during processing.
Big question for me now is that I have installed python26 and want to keep it as the active python. Gimp seems to want 2.5 . Is there a workaround? Thanks....al

Completely different issue to #22710, and not a problem with gimp.
