current rdiff-backup version depends on python 2.5 which is a nuisance ;-). i would prefer a (snowleopard-friendly) update to python 2.6 (see portfile below) or a more version independent solution, but i do not know the official macports policy regarding these packages which somehow depend on python but are not really py25-*/py26-*/py30-* ports.
