Similar to this closed ticket here: http://trac.macports.org/ticket/21754, I'm having the same issue.
I tried updating ports, and updated installed ports, but I had the same issue.
I ran sudo port -d install libwmf +expat build.jobs=1 2>&1 | tee ~/Desktop/libwmf.txt, the results of that is here:
