wine-crossover-games does not compile

I have tried to install wine-crossover-games on my Mac, and when port tries to compile, it eventually returns this error message:

I take this to tell me that configure did not have the --disable-win16 flag enabled, and that wine-crossover-games needs 16-bit support for some reason.

If possible, I would like an explanation of this error message, and some instructions on how to disable 16-bit support.
