Thanks, I committed it in r64011 with these changes:

  • I set the maintainers line to (an obfuscated version of) your email address as required
  • I removed the unnecessary my_name, distname, dist_subdir and use_bzip2 lines and simplified the master_sites definition
  • Your description was long and you were missing the long_description, so I made the description the long_description and wrote a shorter description
  • I made the whitespace more consistent
  • I added a patch to fix the mtree violation by the documentation files
