Summary: | php5 missing dbase in php 5.3.1 → php5-dbase: add port |
Type: | enhancement → request |
The dbase extension was removed from php in 5.3.0. It has allegedly been moved to PECL, but no release of it has appeared on PECL yet. We could try to build it from svn directly.
Note that variants are deliberately being removed from php5 and made into separate ports. So if this request will be fulfilled, it will be in the form of a new port php5-dbase, not a variant in the php5 port.

Turns out this wasn't too hard to add, so I did so in r63655. Have not tested whether it works, however.
