Replying to takeshi@…:
It appears that you are running Snow Leopard on i386 (not x86_64) architecture.
No, he's not; "-arch x86_64" in his output clearly shows he's on x86_64.
Brad, do you still see this problem with g95 0.92? It builds fine for me on Snow Leopard x86_64.
comment:4 Changed 15 years ago by brad.artman@…
I have not tried it from scratch. The trick was only that there was two instances of the same library in the link line, and therefore the functions were double-declared and conflicting. I simply ran it at the command line with only one instance of "/opt/local/var/macports/build/_opt_local_var_macports_sources_rsync.macports.org_release_ports_lang_g95/work/gcc-4.2.4/g95/gcc/driver-i386.o" and everything was ok. Therefore, I didn't spend anymore time debugging. B

I ran into this problem on an multicore iMac.
Based on the output
make -j8 all
it seems to be the same for the reporter.
Adding
use_parallel_build no
to the Portfile fixed the problem.

Committed in r71411. I close the ticket for now.
It appears that you are running Snow Leopard on i386 (not x86_64) architecture. When I updated the Portfile to be compatible with Snow Leopard I had to add
This might not be valid any longer. I will test on an i386 machine when I can. In the mean time you could comment out the above in Portfile.
