I repared it by removing /darwinports/dports/devel/pkgconfig/work/.darwinports.pkgconfig.state and /opt/local/var/db/dports/distfiles/pkgconfig/pkgconfig-0.15.0.tar.gz
and then doing "port install pkgconfig" again.
It would be nice if darwinports downloaded md5sums anew if they do not match. In this case i think there was a server error of some sort cause the file which was supposed to be md5sums was an html file in reality.
