Priority: | Normal | Milestone:
Component: | ports | Version: | 1.8.2 |
Keywords: | Cc: | waqar@…, easye
Port: | sbcl |
Description
Since the upgrade to 1.0.36 I can't build sbcl successfully on my machine (MacBook, OS X 10.6.2, macports 1.8.2). The upgrade to 1.0.37 didn't show any difference. 1.0.35 did build fine.
See the attached log for more details.

Okay, any ideas what could be screwed up on my system? 1.0.35_0 installs fine for me too.

Unfortunately, I don't have a powerpc system to test on, so I can't verify anything first-hand.
But what about the patch posted in #22085? Does that solve your problem?

SBCL reports a similar looking problem with a fix committed post 1.0.37
https://bugs.launchpad.net/sbcl/+bug/490490
which simply comments out the SB-INTROSPECT-TEST::ALLOCATION-INFORMATION.4 test.

Although I do not know what is different I was able to install sbcl 1.0.39 on my system without the above reported problems today. I guess that means one could close this bug report.
Thanks
Martin
