Please remember to cc the maintainers. Looks the same as #24621, your CoreAudio headers seem to be missing.

"your CoreAudio headers seem to be missing."
So how do I obtain those?
comment:4 Changed 15 years ago by fmw42 (Fred Weinhaus)
I looked at my OSX Tiger 10.4.3 Install Disk and it does not contain that header or header directory. Also I cannot find any update on the Apple web site.

I believe most of those headers are installed with Xcode, so I'd recommend installing/reinstalling that (current is 2.5 which is the best choice for 10.4). See the FAQ on updating Xcode if you need help finding older versions.

Xcode 2.5 is for OSX 10.5 Leopard and I am on OSX 10.4 Tiger and have Xcode 2.4.1 installed. I will try reinstalling it.
No, 2.5 is for 10.4 and 10.5, 3.0-3.1.4 is for 10.5 and 3.2.x for 10.6.

see http://support.apple.com/kb/TA25030 which implies it is for 10.5. any way I have reinstalled CoreAudioSDK.pkg from my Xcode 2.4.1 and so far the MacPorts install of python26 has completed successfully and is continuing for librsvg. will let you know when all is done, if successful or not. Thanks for pointing out the coreaudio is in Xcode

OK, I finally found Xcode 2.5 and you are right. It is for either Tiger or Leopard. I will download it and try installing later. Thanks

After reinstalling CoreAudioSDK.pkg from my Xcode2.4.1, I was successfully able to compile python26 and then librsvg. Thanks for your great help.

Glad to hear it works, no idea why some bits of Xcode wouldn't install...hopefully just a fluke.

Well, you were right about Xcode 2.5. I had to install that in order to get libtheora/ffmpeg installed. Apparently libtheora requires Xcode 2.5 and won't work with Xcode 2.4.1
