Description
For some port upgrades, port crashes on my Mac OS X 10.4.11 machine:
[...] ---> Compressing man pages for ruby man1/ruby.1: 59.1% -- replaced with man1/ruby.1.gz man1/ruby.1.gz: changing permissions from 00644 to 00444 zsh: segmentation fault (core dumped) sudo port -v upgrade ruby
and
[...] Session bus services dir: /opt/local/share/dbus-1/services 'make check' socket dir: /tmp launchd agent dir: /opt/local/Library/LaunchAgents zsh: segmentation fault (core dumped) sudo port -v upgrade dbus-glib
I had no such problems before 1.9.0.

The crashes don't always occur: retrying with the same command sometimes works.

And your shell is zsh? (Is that zsh from TIger or zsh or zsh-devel from MacPorts?) Do you see the same problem if your shell is bash or tcsh?

Replying to ryandesign@…:
And your shell is zsh?
My login shell is /bin/bash, though I usually work with zsh.
