Description (last modified by mf2k (Frank Schima))
When trying to run the vnc server provided with tightvnc, Xvnc starts up, but it is not possible to start a window manager or xterm. Error when trying to start xterm:
X Error of failed request: BadValue (integer parameter out of range for operation) Major opcode of failed request: 1 (X_CreateWindow) Value in failed request: 0x21 Serial number of failed request: 26 Current serial number in output stream: 34
This is the same no matter if Snow Leopards xterm or MacPorts xterm are used. Tested on a Snow Leopard and Snow Leopard Server.

Since the tightvnc port has no maintainer, you may have to work directly with the developers of tightvnc on this one. If we need to change something in the port to make this work, let us know.

Seems to work fine if you run vncserver as recommended rather than running Xvnc directly. You do need to set up the config file to set the font path and so on.
