problem when installing geany IDE

mac version 10.5.8
MacPorts 1.9.1 (installed from source)

I got this error when i tried to install geany IDE . 

sayfieldbuy-lm:~ ramamneh$ sudo port install geany

I experienced the same issues as well, and my logs are identical to bourgon.a.

After a couple days of messing with this I just tried downloading the source code and compiling it. Took about 3 minutes and it runs fine.

Updated to 0.20 in r77045; builds OK for me now.
