Description
The package installer GUI says the install will take something like 132KB (yes, kilobytes, the exact number is lost to my memory but roughly of that magnitude). Yet the actual install takes about 65MB!
I think I know why, but it sure would be nice if that first number were not so misleading, or if there were text elsewhere in the GUI saying that more files would be installed and what the real size would approximately be.

The pkg installer only shows the size of the files contained in the installer itself. There is nothing we can do about this.
Note: See
TracTickets for help on using
tickets.
So yeah, the pkg itself probably does only install 132 kB or whatever, but then the postflight script downloads the ports tree.
