trying to install py26-pymvpa

Description
I have tried several times to install py26-mvpa. it fails at gcc44 build. I have tried uninstalling all ports, but cannot do that either.

You didn't attach the log mentioned in your output. What you provided shows no helpful details, so please attach the log. Note that you should not set the priority to high as that is reserved for the macports team and you should have cc'ed the maintainer (of gcc44 in this case). See the ticket guidelines: http://guide.macports.org/#project.tickets

Please do not post RTF attachments, use plain text. I decided to actually download it and look at it. Unfortunately it does not say anything useful except that gcc44 failed to build. As mentioned above, you need to attach the actual debug log which is mentioned in the minimal output you provided.
What version of Mac OS X and Xcode are you running?

I'm sorry, I'm EXTRA new to all this stuff. Just started grad school. I am running os 10.6.4, and my XCode is 3.2.3. I attached the .log file and a .txt file.

I'm sorry, I am very new and didn't know there were guidelines. I have attached both a .log and .txt debug report.

sudo port clean gcc44 sudo port -d install gcc44
If it fails again, attach the output as text. You can hit Command-S to save the output to a text file.
