Just out of interest, why is the name set to "jtom" for this portfile, while it's in the dir lang/tom? Typo?

The unmatched name is due to the recent mane change of the project. it was formerly called "jtom", to mean it was the java implementation of the tom language (a rewrite of ctom, from C to java). The main developers then changed it to tom, to meke things more clear. I have kept the jtom name in the portfile because i have heard of a former "tom" language, totally different. However, since this tom language is totally unmaintained and not in dp, it may be a good idea to set the name in the portfile to tom, to be consistent.
