Confimed it works, by the way. I note that, despite installing the port of madplay, that the default decode settings for MP3s found in /opt/local/share/examples/ezsteam/ezstream_reencode_mp3.xml do not work correctly. Nice shot of noise instead. My guess is this has little to do with the port itself, but if anyone has recommendations for other settings, it would be most appreciated.

You may want to write to the macports-users mailing list, or better yet, to an ezstream-specific support forum, as the people who know the answer to your question are unlikely to see it here in this ticket.
