I am trying to install MediaCore. When I get to the step of installing p25-virualnev I get this error: 

Error: Target org.macports.activate returned: Image error: /opt/local/lib/python2.5/site-packages/setuptools-0.6c11-py2.5.egg-info already exists and does not belong to a registered port.  Unable to activate port py25-distribute. Use 'port -f activate py25-distribute' to force the activation.
Warning: the following items did not execute (for py25-distribute): org.macports.activate
Log for py25-distribute is at: /opt/local/var/macports/logs/_opt_local_var_macports_sources_rsync.macports.org_release_ports_python_py25-distribute/main.log
Error: The following dependencies failed to build: py25-distribute

When I try to force the activation I get this error:

Status: new → closed

If there's a conflicting file that doesn't belong to any port, all you can do is move it aside or delete it. (Is this really not in the FAQ?)
