ncurses error — at Initial Version

Description
I'm trying to install kde. On my mac with osx 10.6.4 During compiiation the process stops with
"---> Building ncurses Error: Target org.macports.build returned: shell command failed"
I tried to install ncurses alone but I got the same message.
