I get the following error when I try to install mpfr: 

Error: Target org.macports.patch returned: Patch file patch04 is missing
Log for mpfr is at: /opt/local/var/macports/logs/_opt_local_var_macports_sources_rsync.macports.org_release_ports_devel_mpfr/main.log
Error: The following dependencies failed to build: libmpc mpfr
Error: Status 1 encountered during processing.

The Portfile is correct. Something may have gone wrong on your system. You should do 

sudo port clean --all mpfr

and try again. BTW, I've just committed mpfr 3.0.0-p7.

Probably a user error or a problem due to something unrelated to MPFR. Closing.
