Description
When I quit Pallet, it asks for my administrator username and password. It doesn't seem that an application should require administrator privileges in order to end itself.

This ancient ticket refers (more or less) to a version of Pallet that no longer exists.
Pallet is presently broken, and has been for about 10 years.
The current best shot at building something would be to start with the github repo at <https://github.com/macports/pallet.git>
Note: See
TracTickets for help on using
tickets.
Also seeing this problem on a fresh Lion install (10.7.0), Macports 2.0.1, Intel Macbook Core 2 Duo. Pallet installed/built via MacPorts.
My everyday user account does not have admin privileges for security reasons. When quitting Pallet, I'm requested to enter an admin logon/password. Hitting cancel just seems to make it quit anyway, so I have no idea what it needs them for.
